Whispers of Snowdonia

After a warm reception from your Tour Manager at your dedicated pick-up point, settle into your
comfortable coach as we begin our journey toward North Wales. Today we will visit and enjoy
free time at the coastal town of Llandudno.

Llandudno is a seaside resort in Conwy County Borough, Wales, located on the Creuddyn
peninsula, which extends into the Irish Sea. Known as the "Queen of the Welsh Resorts"
since 1864, Llandudno is now the largest seaside resort in Wales, featuring two beautiful
beaches set against the backdrop of the Snowdonia Mountains.

You’ll have free time to enjoy Llandudno Beach at your own leisure. You can:

● Take a walk along Wales’ longest pier
● Ride Britain’s only cable-operated tram to the summit of The Great Orme
● Visit the Llandudno Museum
● Shop at the Victoria Shopping Centre

Alternatively, enjoy a ride on the Llandudno Cable Car, gliding from Happy Valley to the
summit of the Great Orme. At 679ft, this headland provides stunning views of Llandudno, the
Little Orme, Conwy Estuary and beyond. It is Britain’s longest passenger cable car system.

You may also opt for the Great Orme Tramway, the UK’s most spectacular funicular
tramway, which climbs one mile to the summit and offers breath-taking views of Llandudno’s
bays. A unique attraction enjoyed for over a century.

In the evening, we’ll check into our hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and make our way to Llanberis for a
once-in-a-lifetime experience aboard the Snowdon Mountain Railway, often described as one
of the most scenic railway journeys in the world.

Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales, standing at 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) and is the
highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands. Located in Snowdonia
National Park, it is one of the most visited attractions in Wales and is designated a national
nature reserve for its rare flora and fauna.

Enjoy approximately 30 minutes at the summit to take in the stunning views. With
awe-inspiring scenery, this journey offers a truly memorable day out for all ages.

After descending, we will begin our return journey to London.
