Itinerary
Upon arrival at Haridwar Railway Station, begin your scenic journey to Guptkashi, the base for the Kedarnath Yatra.
En route highlights include:
- Devprayag – the sacred confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers, forming the holy Ganga
- Rudraprayag – where the Alaknanda meets the Mandakini River
On arrival, check in at the hotel and visit the Vishwanath Temple and Ardh Narishwar Temple.
Dinner and overnight stay in Guptkashi
Start early with breakfast and check out from the hotel. Drive approximately 33 km to Gaurikund, the starting point of the trek to Kedarnath.
Embark on a 16 km trek (pony/palki available at your own cost) through stunning Himalayan landscapes.
Upon arrival, check into government lodges or camps.
Overnight stay in Kedarnath
Wake before dawn and reach the Kedarnath Temple by 4:45 AM for early darshan.
Also visit the Samadhi of Adi Shankaracharya, located just behind the temple.
After darshan and puja, return to your lodge for a quick refresh.
Begin your descent to Gaurikund, then drive to Sonprayag, where your vehicle will take you back to Guptkashi.
Dinner and overnight stay in Guptkashi
After breakfast, check out and begin your drive to Badrinath, passing through the picturesque towns of Chopta and Joshimath.
Upon arrival, check into the hotel. After a brief rest, head to the sacred Badrinath Temple for evening darshan.

Early morning visit to Badrinath Temple for Maha Abhishekam (subject to availability).
Return to the hotel for breakfast, followed by local sightseeing in Badrinath:
Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti Temple
Later, drive to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Check into the hotel upon arrival.

Mana Village – the last village before the Indo-China border
After breakfast, depart for Haridwar. En route, stop at Rishikesh for sightseeing:
Triveni Ghat – witness the sacred confluence and optional Ganga Aarti
Later, drop-off at Haridwar Railway Station for your onward journey.
